Bloggers EB: meeting new and newer friends

I never knew that I would find really nice friends here in blogosphere. Nakikita ko man sila in person oh hindi. I just love the fact that blogging and reading other blogs would give me so much emotion.

I really miss these two beautiful and nice person and I love them so much na! Im telling you, they are really nice and fun to be with. Kidding aside they are easy to get along.

Matagal na yung huling kita namen nila Joanne at Zai. October pa, oh diba ang tagal na. So dapat magme-meet kami ng November kaya lang nagka-sore eyes nga ako, ayun postponed. Nung gumaling na eyes ko, schedule agad agad ng meeting, then came December 3.

But before that I asked Zai kung sino ang mga kasama. Na-excite ako sa mga names na tinext nya including, Marge of CoffehanKulapitot and Lori of Here You'll Find Me. Gustong gusto ko na talaga kasi sila ma-meet in person but sadly hindi sila nakarating. Why kaya?

I also texted Maria of Super Wander Girl to join unfortunately she has work at medyo malayo ang place hindi na rin kakayaning humabol pa. Anyway. I hope next time makasama na sila

4pm ang usapan sa Mega. Una kaming dumating ni bff Hash, may ginawa pa kasi kami regarding our tropa's Christmas party. Pangalawang beses ko ng ma-meet si Theo, the first time was when I claimed my prize in his blog contest.

Zai also got his prize (a planner with freebie coupons) from Theo.
me, Hash and Joanne
Si kuya Mar of Unplog. He's always smiling kasi kahit stolen shot naka-smile pa rin.

kuya Mar, Zai and Theo

Superjaid, kuya Mar and Theo

(left-right) Theo, Joanne, Empi, Zai, Hash, me, Jaid, Bino
Jaid, Theo and Bino.

Merry Cristmas Archieviner! he he he
Pictures overload!

stolen.. photowalk?
Ang mga first time kong na-meet.

with Superjaid

with Bino

with kuya Mar

But wait there's more!

It's really fun and nice meeting and knowing these people na dati ay sa blog ko lang nakakasalamuha. Hope to see them again at sana next time makasama din kayo ;)

wacky!

Not emotionally but physically.

Buti nga nagawa ko pa tong post na to eh (over!).

Pangalawa, masakit pala ang IPL. Sa mga hindi nakaka-alam paki-google na lang po ulet, please bear with me. Second session ko na kanina, from 20 jolts to 24 jolts. At masakit talaga sya. Oh my gash baka himatayin na ko! Eh ano bang magagawa ko ginusto ko to eh. Tiis ganda!

O.A. lang ba?

Versatile, Cool and Popular

Yap, that's me!

Versatile

It's been a couple of months na ata ng ma-recieve ko ang Versatile Blogger Award from one of my blogger idols, Ms. Balut of The Lucky Blog. I want to thank you Mamalut (nakigaya na ko kay ate Gracie) with all my hypothalamus.

The Rules:
  1. Thank the blogger who gave you this award.  Don’t forget to link her blog.
  2. Post seven random things about you
  3. Give the award to 15 other bloggers you love and let them know you gave them this award.

I already did the thanking part up there but of course I wouldnt mind doing it again. Thank you again dearest Mamalut. I appreciate this so much!

7 random things about me

As in pag nakikita nila ko they were like "sayaw ka naman ng ice ice baby". Ako naman si uto uto sumasayaw naman. Nakakatawa na nakakainis pag naalala ko yun. Hindi po ako dancer, singer ako.

3. Bossy ako, mahilig akong mang-utos. Im also a dominant when it comes to relationship. Gusto ko ako ang nasusunod.

4. I dont eat bangus and kare-kare.

5. Super hate ko pag kinakalabit ako as in! Lalo na yung sunod sunod na kalabit. Nakakairita talaga ng bongga. Ang sarap lang manapak pag ganun gggrrrrrrrr!

Pero dahil na-broken hearted ako and I thought of the need to reinvent myself ayun pa-straight at pa-short hair and drama ko.

7. I know how to play "Crazy for You" by Madonna, "Bakit ba?" by Siakol, "Story of Us" by Taylor Swift on guitar.

And Im giving this award to:
1. Maria of Super Wander Girl
2. Ric of Life N Canvas
3. Phioxee of Wanderer
4. Xoxo Grah of Chicturista
5. Rogie of The Ignored Genius
6. Pao Kun of To infinity and beyond! Pangkalawakan
7. Anthony of Free to Play
8. Fiel-kun's Thoughts
9. Cheenee of Kwentong Palaka

As for the tagging part, alam kong cool kayong lahat that's why Im tagging you ALL for this award.

Popular

Ang lastly but not the least, thank you to my sweet, pretty and talented friend Maria of Super Wander Girl, for this another award called SMP Blog Award (Samahan ng Magaganda't Pogi chos!). It's called the Super Ms. Popular Blog Award. Thank you din kay ate Gracie of Gracie's Network, Rix of Kwentong Baliw ng Isang Rixophrenic and Anthony of Free to Play for tagging me as well. I love you all with all my heart.

The rules are:
1. Answer the questions below.
2. Choose your Super Mr. Popular and Super Miss Popular who you want to give this award. (Maximum of 15 people)
3. Copy the provided question below or you may create a new question you want to ask them.
4. Don't forget to send me the link of your post so i can see it too.

Your life is going to become a script for a movie. Whose local/foreign celebrity would you want to play you?
Since naunahan na ko ni sis Joanne kay Anne Curtis at ni Lori kay Angelina Jolie so ang choice ko ay si Angel Locsin sa local at Keira Knightley sa foreign, simply because they're both hot like me chos! Gusto kong maging leading man syempre si JLC at si Orlando Bloom.

You get to become a villain for a day from a Disney movie. Which villain are you?
Wala akong matandaang villain ng Disney movies eh. Tinatamad naman ako mag-google hehe. Sorry naman.

Aside from family, what's your greatest accomplishment in life?
Aside from the 3 consecutive years of being an awardee on my previous job,
my 2nd awardee's plaque

I think it's when I decided to resign as an employee and invest on our family's business and doing it well so far.

In your own views, what's the spirit of Christmas?
Family, giving, loving and remembering the birthday of our dear saviour, Jesus Christ.

And the award goes to:

Super Mr. Popular
Overthinker Palaboy of afterthoughts
Olivr of the Beat Box

Super Ms. Popular
Sherene of Our Journey
Lizzie of Pretty Ugly
Marge of Coffeehan

Sorry for the long post.

Merry Christmas my friends!

Happy Christmas

Hello hello friends! How's your Christmas? I hope you had it happy and merry. Me? I had an extraordinary one that I cant afford not to share. Bukod sa talagang nag-enjoy ako, this was also another first for me.

Me, my mom and relatives spend the Christmas on Blue Coral Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas. First time ko sa Blue Coral pero second time ko na sa Laiya. My first was in La Luz Beach Resort where we had our branch outing with my previous employer.

Among Batangas beaches that I've been, I think Laiya is the most promising. It may not endowed with the golden sand of Puerto Gallera and the finest sand of Boracay but for me its semi-white sand is still worth a try for beach bumming for only two and a half hours trip from Manila.

We arrived there afternoon of the 24th.

We hurried to the beach after we had our merienda. The wave was a bit strong and the water was freakin' cold. I was shivering the moment I took a dip.

We cant stand the coldness of the sea water kaya lumipat kami sa pool. Swimming kami until the night falls.

We had our buffet dinner by 7pm. No other options, buffet lang talaga and I dont know why. Buffet ang breakfast, lunch and dinner. We paid 1,200 pesos each for the three buffet meals. Its kinda expensive for a so so taste of the foods.

my dinner

After dinner tumambay kami sa tree house.
with my cute nephew
Kasalukuyan akong may kainuman virtually. Alam nyo na kung sino kayo ;)

Busy preparing the food, I forgot to take photos but we had spaghetti, cake, salad and bread. We were supposed to have our noche buena on the beach but my cousin's first born threw tantrums and we cant just leave them inside the room while we're eating by the beach. But it was still fun!

After eating nag-aya ng totoong inom si cousin and we went to the bar and after, to the beach.

at the bar with my cousins
This trip was courtesy of my cousin in green.

We woke up early morning of the 25th, had breakfast and swimming again.

After our lunch, by 1pm we leave the resort and drove back to Manila to be with the rest of the family na hindi nakasama. That's how I spent my Christmas. How about you?

P.S.

I want to thank all blogger friends who exerted their effort to greet last Christmas. Alam nyo na kung sino kayo. I will make a separate post for it. Baka kasi may humabol pa for New Year para isang post na lang hehe. For the meantime eto muna.  Gusto ko rin sanang um-effort na i-greet kayong lahat like doing a picture greeting, kaya lang sobrang busy talaga kaya hanggang tweet, text at status na lang muna. Promise babawi ako next year.

P.S. ulet

My Top 10 Birthday Wishlist for 2013

Today is my birthday!

Dapat pala last month ko pa to ni-post para may 1 month kayong preparation (assuming ako). Kaya huwag kayong mahihiya ah.

10. Unique birthday cards. Yung tipong out of this world. Ang choosy ko lang, sige na nga kahit yung message na lang ang maging out of this world.

9. To have a photo of me on a birthday suit. I've always wanted to do this.

8. Sana may manlibre saken. Nagpaka-generous kasi akong ninang at tita last Christmas. Oo, hindi ako nagtago.

7. New business oppurtunities at sana ay mas tumatag pa ang business namen ngaun.

6. Pug puppy.

Speaking of photography, Im now officially launching my photoblog, Pink Line Photography. Sana magkaroon kayo ng time na bumisita. Please click the link or the photo below.

That is my photo blog's header courtesy of my sweet friend Maria. Maraming maraming salamat Maria! To know more about this sweet girl just visit her blog Super Wander Girl.

3. All expense paid trip to Batanes.

2. God's Gift. In other term, lovelife!

1. Success of the first PBO project. Let's pray hard for this. Sama sama tayo dito. Bukas na!

My original plan was to celebrate my birthday sa isang orphanage somewhere in Marikina. But PBO came and I decided na dito na lang muna mag-focus. May you continue to be part of me until I reached 60 or older.

Thank you ng bonggang bongga!

Love,

Sexy, Free and Single Arline =)

A Success for the First PBO Project

It all started with a humble wish of a blogger with a pure heart named Gracie of Gracie's Network. That is why when ate Gracie posted about her wish for Christmas agad akong nagpahayag ng suporta. Kasama ang maraming kalokohan pero may  napakabuting puso (hindi ito dyuk) na si Archieviner of Chateau de Archieviner we had serious talks over twitter on how we could make it happen.

More bloggers showed support. Donations came, in cash and in kind.

Mula sa usapan sa twitter, FB, at Skype, the group finally decided to held our first project on White Cross Children's Orphanage in San Juan.

The Preparation -January 6, 2013

The Main Event- January 8, 2013

We met at Robinson's Galleria by 1pm.

Games to sawa na ulet.

Maid of Honor

$

January 19, 2013 was the wedding date of the two of my closest friends, Bobong and Nene. Magkakaibigan na kami since college. We were on a two different groups on our block section. Pero dumating yung time na nagmerge ang group namen and then poof it became coco crunch naging isang malaking barkada na kami. Actually hindi naman ganun kalaki. We were originally eight, nadagdagan na lang dahil sa mga bf or gf at ngaun asawa na nila. That leaves me the only single (not taken) on our barkada. Saklap diba?

Always na lang kasi akong bridesmaid at first time ko mag- maid of honor.

The wedding ceremony took place in Sta.

the groom with his parents

the bride with her super cool parents

Baket kaya nakakaiyak yung eksenang naglalakad yung bride sa aisle? Well, its for me to find out hehe.
They have a promise na kapag 10 years na sila mag-bf gf eh magpapakasal na sila. Kaya ayan, finally!

Eh first time eh.

the prettiest maid of honor on earth (ang kokontra panget!)

While in the middle of the program, may na-spot-tan akong nagi-stand out na kagwapuhan.

Ehmeged! He's more goodlooking sa malapitan. We shook hands and he smiled so sweet. Oh well, move on na! Ganyan ako kabilis magpalit ng feelings, from kilig to deadma chos!

tuwang tuwa ako, diring diri si best man

The bride and groom ended the program by thanking everyone for being part of their big event. Like what I've said sa wine tossing, I wish them happiness, stay in love unconditionally and have a baby agad agad.

Dahil mga adik kami sa picture, more more photo shoot bago umuwi.

That's all for now.

Hello dears! This is a quick post. PBO's next project is coming near. Please do share your pre-loved items for our fund raising event entitled "Bazaar for a Cause" which will happen this Valentine's Day.

I didnt know what items to share since I already turn my room upside down and found no interesting since most of my things were stock on our house in Cavite and I still cant find time to gather those. But Senyor Iskwater suggested that I can sell my cupcakes. Full proceeds will go to PBO's fund for our next project in March. Great idea indeed, so I will be selling my cupcakes by three's in a box. Just like the photo below.

Christmas themed chocolate and vanilla cupcakes ordered by a friend for giveaway.

So what are you waiting for? Come and share some love too.
If you already have your items to donate please send the photos to cepsdee@me.com

Siargao Adventure: The Transport

We traveled by air, by sea, and by land just to get to Siargao. I mean I have no problem with travelling but experiencing all in one day? aarrrgh gives me so much pain in the butt! We traveled almost 2 hours by plane from Manila to Butuan. Another 2 hours by land on a van from Butuan to Surigao. 3 hours from Surigao to Sta. Monica and more than 1 hour to Gen. Luna where our accommodation was located. In short it took us the whole day just to get to there. Though there's a direct flight to Siargao but kinda expensive for us budget tourists.

I love the fact how helpful the locals were. Naiwan kami ng boat going to Dapa port and they were so nice enough to help us find another option. We were like celebrities when they have to brought us from a small paddle boat to the large boat that would carry us to Sta. Monica because it already leaves the port.

I hate the habal-habal ride. Imagine me wearing a summer dress and have to ride a motorbike, how awkward was that?! Its not my first time to ride a motorbike but riding it for more than an hour was a lot different plus the ride was so bumpy. I had to ask our driver to stop and rest a bit. I remember myself blurting to our driver, "kuya dahan dahan, masakit!" then Arvin and Empi laughed out loud and Im wondering why.

On our second day, we have to travel more than two hours to reach Sohoton Cove where the stingless jellyfish and caves were located. Few minutes after we leave the shore the boat suddenly stopped. Oh yeah we got stranded! It was raining and the waves were getting bigger. I can see Manong was trying so hard to start the boat. Im scared but Im praying hard. Moments later and after Manong gave his best, the boat finally started, thanks God and we go on.

On our third and last day, we woke up as early 2am to travel to Butuan for our flight back to Manila. This time we didnt ride the habal habal, instead a van took us to Dapa port to catch the 5:30am boat trip to Surigao. Another long and butt ache sea, land and plane trip back but was all worth it!

Siargao Adventure: The Stingless Jellyfish

The stingless jellyfish was one of the things that made me excited about Siargao.

We reached Bucas Grande Island after ng two-hour na maulan at maalong boat trip. On our way I felt something na hindi ko na talaga kayang pigilan. Sabi nga ni sis Joanne, I did a "fascinating intermission number" at naaliw sila dun, aminin!

can you guess what i did?
It was still raining when we reached the registration area. We dont wanna waste time dahil 2-day intinerary ang kelangan namen pagkasyahin sa isang araw. Below were the prices we paid for our tour to Sohoton Cove. Credits to sis Joanne.

Environmental Fee: P50 for local / P150 for foreign
Rentals of helmet and lifevest: P40 each
Docking Fee: P100 per boat
PumpBoat: P500
Boat Guides: P165 per guide
Paddlers: P100 each

After paying the necessary amount nangunguna na kong sumakay ng paddle boat! Excited sa jelly fish.

They were on a lagoon just beside the tourism deck, a very peaceful place. A small paddle boat brought us to the jellyfish's sanctuary. Thank God the rain stopped.

the cool entrance of the jelly fish sanctuary

At first I was so afraid to touch them but my guide told me that they're harmless and showed me how to hold them the right way.

I so love them specially the baby ones. They're soooo cute! Did I mention that Im amazed about jelly fishes? They're a mystery to me. Gusto ko silang iuwi but they're gonna die if I take them out of the water.

Me: Pwede ba kaming mag-swimming dito?

Too bad that I cant swim with them but the thought that something about human might harm them, relieved me though.

My guide slash paddler told me that there's another jelly fish specie, the colorless one, that lives on the same lagoon but unfortunately it didnt showed up. He said that it only appears late in afternoon when the sun was down.

The crystal clear water was so inviting. I was ahead of the others so I took a quick dip on the other side of the lagoon while waiting for the them. And then I saw sea urchins, ok aahon na ko!

nagsnorkling ako ng walang snorkle
It was a short but fun encounter with the stingless jellyfishes of Siargao. Im definitely recommending this place to be included on one of your future travels my dear friends. I can say that these jelly fishes alone was worth the travel! I will come back here and will bring my future children. Well, I just wish that this place is preserve forever.

Siargao Adventure: The Caves and the Jump!

Im not really into caves. Aside from being afraid of dark, Im also not comfortable staying long at enclosed areas. I cant breathe easy whenever Im in a cramped and closed spaces. But Im astounded the first time I entered a cave in 2010, the Underground River of Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan. When I saw it, I was like a child again non-stop of wow's and awe. Then I thought with that kind of exquisiteness I cannot afford not to see another one. This story is about my second cave exploration happened in Sohoton Cove's Mangkukuob ang Hagukan Cave.

We entered this underground passage.

On our way to the first cave we saw this symbolic landmark that looks like a horse shoe.

We entered Hagukan cave first. According to our guide, it was called Hagukan for whenever the wave reaches the opening of the cave it produces a snoring sound. Hagukan comes from the bisayan word haguk which means "to snore".

It has a very low entrance, that we have to submerged to the water from the neck down in order to enter. Im a bit nervous while entering because it's dark and the water was kinda deep though we had our life vest. I had to hold on to Zai. I have problems on stroking my feet under water. I really need swimming lessons. Anyone who can teach me, please?

Im a little freaked out when the water was abruptly changing temperature. It was cold and then suddenly it becomes warm and then cold and then warm again.

We stepped on a stone that elevated us waist high from the water.

Our next stop was the Mangkukuob Cave.

Our guide told us that when we enter the cave the only way out was to jump off the rock face, which later on we discovered was just a trick just so we can have the best of this adventure, well thanks to them anyway. I was really hesitant to go, even more when I saw how high the platform was. If I estimated it right, it was roughly 15-feet high and I didnt even know how to swim! Isnt that frantic?! Everybody was off the boat except me. I told them I'll just wait for them on the boat. I know myself well and Im definite that I cant do that. But Zai, Arvin, Empi and Joanne didnt stop until I go and yeah I got convinced by them and thought sayang naman ang binyahe ko ng isang buong araw kung hindi ko masusulit ang adventure. "Kaya ko to!"

We saw this little bats inside the cave.

Climbing up the cave to the jumping exit.

Then we reached the platform.

My heart was beating so fast that time. Parang may something na sa tummy ko that wanted to come out. Arvin, who told us he cant swim but really can, jumped first.

Followed by Zai, then Empi. Next in line was sis Joanne. It took some time for her to jump, well actually she didnt jumped she was pushed by our tour guide which she said she really needed that push or else she would have stayed all day long on the platform.

So I told her na mauuna na ko tumalon. "Wag!" she shouted. She doesnt want to be the last one to jump. Then I thought she will jump na pero hindi pa rin until manong tour guide pushed her na that made her wanted to kill him after haha!

My turn! "Lord help me", ganyan. One tour guide was left with me. He was holding my hand as if he wanted to push me too. But I told him, "wag mo kong hawakan kuya, kaya kong tumalon mag-isa!" haha! After 3 sets of counting 1 to 3, I jumped!

For me, it was breathtaking, dare devil stunt I ever did in my entire life, so far. "Thank you Lord", I whispered when Im afloat. Aside from having a tiny cut in my nose and feeling so frail after the jump, I never felt so much fine and relieved.

Too bad we dont have photos of our jump, maybe it means we need to come back.

I hope hindi kayo na-bored sa kwento ko about my adventure in Siargao cause there's two more story to go. The highlight of these trip and my favorite part, surfing and hopping the three lovely islands. Thank you for reading and commenting on my previous posts. It was so much appreciated!

Reunited with Fireworks and Bowling

Almost 4 years hindi nagparamdam.

Me: (through SMS) Guys nood tayo Pyromusical Competition sa MOA sa Saturday
Barkada: Umaga ba yun?
Me: Ahmmm fireworks yun eh so malamang umaga sya.

James hasnt change a bit, well except the beer belly. I just hugged him so tight. He has his own family na rin.

Richelle, long lost James and Me ;)

Fireworks

United Kingdom and South Korea were the competing countries who performed last Saturday for the 4th Philippine International Pyromusical Competion.

We bought our tickets on Metrodeal.

Opening song was Skyfall by Adele, followed by One Direction's Live While we're Young. Im thrilled when the song Diamond by Rihanna played, synchronized with the fireworks.

Korean songs ang ginamit except for Frank Sinatra's Fly Me to the Moon, that somehow made the moment so romantic. In short walang kakaiba.

Well, I super love fireworks. Nakanganga ata ako habang nakatingala at pinapanood sila.

Bowling

Mga 9pm na natapos ang fireworks. Kumain kami then nagkayayaan mag-bowling since maaga pa naman. Another first time and another check on my bucketlist yey!

First time ko pero would you believe na unang tira ko strike?!

Nakakaaliw na sports at great bonding with barkada. Uulit ulitin ko syempre.

Siargao Adventure: Naked, Daku and Guyam Islands

After our cave exploration and that "buwis buhay" jump on Mangkukuob Cave we set sail to our next destination, the three lovely islands of Siargao.

We docked in first to Naked Island. Why naked? Well, as the name implies, it is indeed naked! You can see nothing but a fine white sand and some seaweeds carried by waves through the shores.

It is the best place for sun bathing. Weather you like it or not you will be sun bathed in this island.

After our pictorials we decided to move to the next island. It's getting really hot and we have to maximize our time. So bye Naked Island and hello Daku Island!

palm trees, refined white sand, blue waters- paradise!

Among the three islands, Daku was my favorite. When I was a child, I always dream of going to a white beach with palm trees and hammock. And everytime Im in a place like this it feels like my dreams were reality all over again. A real paradise.

This is where we also did our much anticipated Metro Magazine-peg photo session. Conceptualized, visualized and directed by none other than Zai! If you want to see our "flaming" photos just click here and feel the heat. Warning: view at your own risk.

Here are some of our behind-the-scene photos in my favorite Daku Island. Caption these!

And this is my favorite photo of me taken in this charming island.

Dyosa ng Daku Island

By the way Daku means "big" in Visayan, therefore it is the biggest among the three.

Our last stop was the Guyam Island. If you're looking for a tranquil uninhabited place then Guyam is perfect! This is a real depiction in my mind when someone is asking "if you were stranded on an island...". I wouldnt mind being a damsel, without the "in distress", stuck in this island. Well, atleast for a week. Just leave me with food and good books.

We didnt stay too long. We bid the island goodbye and wished to come back.

There's plenty of beautiful places to discover in our country. I never thought that Siargao has so much more to offer than surfing. Another wonderful place to be.

Siargao Adventure: Surfing

Surfing was on my bucketlist that's why Im so excited about this trip.

It was already 4pm when we arrived at the resort from a tiring but super fun island hopping. We changed outfit without resting a bit and instantly went to Cloud 9. Thanks by the way to the very accommodating ate Anita, the owner of the resort where we stayed, Jadestar Lodge, who find a habal habal that would take us to the surfing area.

Cloud 9
One of the best known surfing waves on Siargao and the Philippines, with a worldwide reputation for thick, hollow tubes is "Cloud 9". This right-breaking reef wave is the site of the annual Siargao Cup, a domestic and international surfing competition sponsored by the provincial government of Surigao del Norte. The wave was discovered by travelling surfers in the late 1980s. It was named after a chocolate bar of same name, and made famous by American photographer John S. Callahan, who published the first major feature on Siargao Island in the United States- based Surfer magazine in March 1993, and hundreds of his photos in many other books and magazines since his first visit in 1992. Callahan has put the island on the international map and has drawn thousands of surfers and tourists to Siargao. - Wikipedia

After 10 minutes, we're on Cloud 9, a famous surfing area in Siargao. We were approached by a local in his motorcycle who happened to be a surfing instructor too. He offered us a one-hour surfing lesson for 500 pesos each. We agreed then start the lessons immediately because the sun was also starting to set.

The waves in Siargao were amazingly big. I still remember when we were on our boat trip going to the islands, we were like riding a car passing a zigzag road.

I felt excited and anxious at the same time. Anxious because, again, I dont know how to swim. But then again, nothing can stop me and besides the water was only above waist high even though we're already far from the shore.

My first attempt to stand on the surf board failed. Second, failed again. Third, still failed. I cant manage to balance my feet on the board. Im always falling. My body was starting to feel the pain of falling hard on the water. But I cant give up, I should never give up!

Im envious of how Zai and Empi nailed it. They were like pros! Seeing them so relaxed while riding the waves inspired me and thought, I can do it too. And so, on my 6th attempt to stand, I finally made it! The feeling was as high as Cloud 9! Im ecstatic, I raised my both hands while standing on the board and shouted my heart out! Wohooooo! I did it.

look at the abs of my surfing instructor haha!

No one was left on the shore to take our actual surfing photos.

All the body pains and bruises paid off. I really had fun. It is something that I will always look forward doing again.

By the way, this is for the girls, if you'll gonna try surfing please dont ever ever wear string bikini.

Until my next adventure. See you!

Its been a week na since I came back from our Coron getaway with my family pero parang hindi pa rin ako nakaka-move on.

None other than mommy Joy! Yey!

And then came March 17 at ayun nagkita kami with the other bloggers.

the girls: Kat, me, mommy Joy and sis Joanne

dapat may solo picture kami lahat with mommy Joy

She really looks younger than her age. Speaking of age, happy belated birthday din pala sa kanya.

She treated us for lunch. Thank you po mommy Joy. Then kwentuhan, tawanan, kulitan. Medyo bitin pero we really enjoyed the time with her.

me with mommy Joy
Thank you for the time you spent with us mommy Joy. We're all grateful that we've met and be friends with such an inspirational woman like you.

♥ ♥ ♥

I wanna take this oppurtunity na rin to greet a funny, bubbly and obessy blogger friend a happy happy birthday. I know you're genuinely happy for what you are and what you have right now. So wala na siguro akong mahihiling pa para sayo. Just stay happy. God bless you always. Happy Birthday Christian Paul Dee!

We love you Teriyaki Boy!

Nuvali Food Trip

Ayan medyo sinisipag na ko mag-update ulet. Sana tuloy tuloy na to!

I've been to Nuvali for the first time last Tuesday. Nuvali is in Sta. Rosa Laguna by the way. Kaya ayun gora kami.

I dont know how to get there buti na lang maraming beses na nakapunta dun si kuya Mar. We reached Nuvali by 1pm at sinimulan agad ang food trip.

Simulan naten dito sa Buddy's Pancit Habhab na dala pa ni kuya Mar all the way from Pasig. Pumasok kami sa isang Mexican themed resto (I forgot the name) at habang hinihintay ang order namen we started eating this.

In just a while, dumating na rin ang order namen.

Thank's Pao! Parang redundant ang "Pao" noh? Eh kasi birthday nya kahapon. Happy Birthday ulet Pao! Sana makapasa ka sa board exam. Good luck!

More kwentuhan at tawanan habang nagpapaypay dahil sa init.

Kaya more on picture picture at watch nalang kami ng super daming fish sa man made pond.

fishes ba to o worms? lol

pig out!

Thanks to these boys who sponsored this food trip specially to kuya Mar. Kelan pala despidida mo?

*PBO Update*

PBO is having it's 2nd outreach na po sa March 30, 2013 sa Bahay ni Maria, Calamba, Laguna. For more infos please visit our page Pinoy Bloggers Outreach. Nag-aaccept pa rin po tayo ng donations. See you mga ka-PBO!

Pinoy Bloggers Outreach, Bahay ni Maria, Couples/Youth for Christs atbp by Bino of Damuhan
PBO shares love to the grannies at Bahay ni Maria by Marge of Coffeehan
A Heart Bigger than a Home: Bahay ni Maria by Kulapitot

Laruan! PBO's 2nd Outreach by Mar of Unplog
2nd PBO kick-off by Rixophrenic
Bahay ni Maria by Glentot of Wickedmouth

So bye bye na nag-thank you lang talaga ako charot!

Noong narinig ko yun, I was like "talaga lola?!". Hindi ko talaga alam kung maniniwala ako. Then I asked her, "paano nyo po nalaman yung tungkol dun?". Until now I have yet to discover if that was true. Ano sa tingin nyo? (tamad mag-google).

lola Natalia and me

Lola Natalia reminds me of my own lola. By the way namatay ang maternal grandma ko at the age of 82.

Pero at the end of the day maghahanap at maghahanap pa rin sila ng pamilya.

with lola Natalia and the other lolas

Tinago Falls- Iligan

My Tinago Falls adventure was part of my Cagayan de Oro trip last September 2012. I cant recall why this was stock on my draft like forever and Im thinking of just deleting. But you know, I cant afford not to share my first time falls adventure. So here it is.

Before leaving CdO, we had our late lunch at Mykarelli's Grill. This place was worth mentioning the second time around. I cant and will never forget the yummiest chicken inasal I've ever tasted.

It was already seven in the evening when we arrived in Iligan. We contained ourselves from an exhausting but a delightful day at the Famous Pension House.

We have settled to leave the pension house as early as 7am so that we can have all our time to see the two most famous falls in Iligan. But our driver slash tour guide who had a convention at the same area got himself drunk the night before. I had already detailed this story on my bacon series post so lets move on.

Unfortunately with all the delay that happened we didnt get to see Maria Cristina Falls but I promised to myself that I will, one of these days.

Iligan is known to its majestic waterfalls which, of course includes Tinago. We almost got lost before we finally reached the mystifying trudge to the falls.

When we climbed out of the car, we're immediately approached by two local in their teen age, who claimed themselves as tour guides. They said they're gonna help us carry our things and guide our trek down to the falls. Since its our first time and we have yet to be familiar, so we agreed.

Beside the signage was the registration area. We paid 50 pesos for the entrace including the life vest.

On our trek, we passed by this unfinished structure. According to our teenager guides, it was supposed to be a hotel but before it was done the owner faced bankruptcy and now it was on the government's trusteeship. It looks creepy. Even when its done I wouldnt want to stay here.

Our guide led us to the 400+ stair steps down but they mention that there's another route which has more than 500 steps.

My legs were wobbling while descending.

The falls was literally hidden.

I really cant hide the excitement running through me as I hear the rushing sound of falling water growing loud as we get closer.

When I saw that view, I wanted to dive straight to the water as if I know how to swim.

I was stunned the moment Im standing in front of this strong falling water. The sound of him was like music to my ears and thats the only thing Im hearing. It was like I fell in-love again for the first time. And Im not amplifying, that was really how I felt when I saw this marvelous falls.

We took photos endlessly and filled our hearts and eyes with the view.

We rode a balsa that took us beneath the falls. Some locals were kind enough to assist us and helped us explore the falls. Though it was not compulsory, we gave them monetary tips after.

Locals told us to climb the rocks. They said the view was more striking up there. No one dared but me! I felt so overwhelmed by the strong sound of falling water so I accepted the challenge. The rocks were slippery plus the water falling through my face was destructing my eyes. It was really formidable but Im fearless!

That boy was telling me to enter the small cave he was pointing  at. I was hesitant because the cave was so small and was very dark inside but I thought andun na rin naman ako why not try.

I found my love team here. I forgot his name but he was very kind assisting me all through out my falls exploration.

Dyosa ng Tinago Falls

Afternoon came and we have to fix ourselves cause we have a flight to catch (which unfortunately we didnt). While we were climbing back we came across people going down the falls. I can say that it is best to go there by morning when it's not yet crowded.

There's a shower room near the registration area where we rinsed ourselves. We paid 20 pesos each for the clean water.

This was another great adventure I would never forget.

Hello hello hello! Kumusta naman kayo? Ako? Eto almost a month ng walang blog update. As if may nagaabang ng update ko.

Yes, korek, tama, palangak, walang duda sya yun! He courted me since then at ayun nung April 21 ibinigay ko na ang matamis kong OO.

I almost told him to stop na but still I give myself a chance. Syanga pala binabasa nya tong blog ko kaya hi my Love (kilig much!).

I thougt it was wrong timing kasi I have a friend who's currently hurting because her partner cheated on her.

Salamat Pao and Carlo until next bonding time.

For more details or questions and suggestions click nio lang ito Pinoy Bloggers Outreach or email me at pinkline_21@yahoo.com. Maraming salamat. Hope to see you there.

Na-miss ko kayo!
